BAS has over 200 members with a team of professional advisors. 

Members receive a monthly newsletter from September through June to keep them informed about monthly meetings, current and future activities, and upcoming events of interest.  They also receive a membership directory and card.

The Society holds appliqué block challenges two or three times a year.  All members are encouraged to enter by designing and stitching a block, with a chance to win several in a drawing.  All participants receive a pattern book of the completed designs.
